During the past 10/15 years, the efforts of NGOs, bilateral and multilateral agencies, to assist in supporting small and medium enterprise development have produced a number of lessons learned and best practices now available as documents, reports and publications. This page lists and rates electronic resources related to publications in the field of enterprise development.

IDB's Publications Publications of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in their areas and topics of intervention. The publications are presented in eight categories: Books, Working Papers, Policy Briefs, Monographs, Technical Notes, Magazines Journals & Newsletters, Discussion Papers, Catalogs and Brochures. Excellent site which should merit to become a model for others both in terms of design and content. ICM Bibliography The Informal Credit Homepage not only includes an extensive bibliography on financial markets but also key documents related to microcredit and microfinance. A "Must" Finance & Development Finance & Development is published on the Web, quarterly in English, by the International Monetary Fund and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development. Even though you have to order (and pay) some of the publications, what is available on site makes it an essential reading. In addition to going directly to the topic of your choice, or exploring the site on a geographical basis, you can also click on the What's New image on the left. This will lead you to a list of the recently added sites. On average 15/20 new sites are reviewed each month. Do not forget to send us your suggestions. UNIDO's Publications The UNIDO Publications site is divided into seven sections: Sales publications, Free publications, CDs and videos, Publications sold by co-publishers, Newsletters, Industrial development abstracts OECD Publications The OECD is best known for its Outlooks, Country Surveys and statistics, but along with publications for sale, the OECD publications section hosts many other sources of information such as the OECD's , annual report, working papers, guidelines, and legal instruments, which illustrate the broad range of the OECD's intellectual work. Very good site but to really benefit from it one has to explore it with the OECD Advanced Search Engine.
