India WWW Virtual Library

This site is part of the WWW Virtual Library on South Asian Studies and provides links to India information, including sections on business and the economy. Very good and rich site although its organization could be better. The sections on States and Cities are very rich.

Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India

The Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI), a wholly autonomous and not-for-profit institution, has been spearheading entrepreneurship movement in India with the belief that entrepreneurs need not necessarily be born; they can be developed through well conceived and well directed activities. An interesting and well known concept, although unfortunately the EDI website does not provide much value added information.
