From the Institute of International Studies in Sussex, this Globalisation Page for research on trade, international finance, enterprise, industry and related topics provides details on current research carried out at the Institute. The 27 Centers for International Business Education and Research (CIBERs) were created to increase and promote the United States ' capacity for international understanding and economic enterprise. Small Business Research Portal
Set up by Dr Lew Perren from the University of Brighton, this portal has been designed to provide links to internet sites that will be helpful to fellow small business researchers. Includes links to mega sites, research books and news, etc.. Focus is mostly academic, with an emphasis on the UK, but excellent and promising initiative.

The Enterprise Research Institute for Latin America
The Enterprise Research Institute for Latin America was founded recently to study the business environment in Latin America. Its work includes evaluating conditions for entrepreneurship and investment both from the perspective of individual investors and reformers. It also deals with issues of small and medium sized enterprises. Their approach on "second generation reforms" and their publication page are quite interesting.

Centre for International Research and Advisory Networks. (CIRAN)
The Centre's main objectives are: (i) promoting international cooperation in the field of research in various disciplines with a focus on social, economic and technological development in countries of the South (development related research), and (ii) creating facilities to assist those countries in strengthening their research capacity. Do not miss the development-related information on the Internet (manual) .

The Forecasting Principles site, created by Professor J. A very good site, useful for researchers and practitioners as well as educators.

A not-for-profit, non-advocacy organization, the Conference Board: is the world's leading business membership and research organization, connecting senior executives from more than 2,900 enterprises in over 60 nations. Unfortunately, despite the numerous business research areas, not much "free" detailed information is available on site.

Research Institute for SMEs
The core mission of the Institute (hosted by the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières) is to foster the advancement of knowledge on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to contribute to their development through fundamental and applied research.
